Josephine is a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA). She’s the founder of Melbourne Bilingual Music Therapy Services.
Josephine graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Music Therapy in 2016. She also had a master degree in Criminology from University of Hong Kong. Josephine had two other bachelor degrees in Social Sciences majoring in sociology/criminal justice and Psychology.
Josephine had worked as a tutor in Criminology subjects in different universities in Hong Kong for over 15 years before becoming a music therapist. She had worked as a volunteer in Hong Kong prisons and support the inmates with music for over 15 years too. Josephine also teaches the piano and children’s music groups.
Josephine sings and plays the piano, guitar and ukulele. And she is a harp beginner.
Josephine is passionate to support individuals of different ages with different needs and disabilities, especially supporting the bilingual families with her cultural background. She has worked in the special school and aged care settings. She also has experiences of supporting child disabilities, early childhood intervention and adult disabilities with music.
Josephine speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
In her own time, Josephine loves cooking and swimming, spending time with her family, including her toddler daughter.

Joyce is a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
Joyce graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Music Therapy and from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music Technology.
Joyce has worked at Monash Children's Hospital, Caulfield Hospital’s Aged Acute Mental Health Unit, Surry Hills Preschool Centre and JAM Music Therapy, a community music therapy program for adults with profound intellectual disabilities for her clinical placement. Before music therapy training, Joyce worked as an early childhood music educator and private teacher in piano and violin for children.
Joyce plays the piano, guitar, violin, sings and has a background in music production.
Joyce is passionate about mental health work with a focus in neurodiversity and fostering one's creative self-expression. She is interested in working with preschool and school aged children in supporting their emotional and developmental needs and with adolescents, adults and older adults in promoting their psychological well-being and quality of life.
Joyce speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
In her own time, Joyce enjoys having creative outlets through art, music and fashion. She also enjoys snowboarding, watching movies and catching up on Netflix shows.

Venus is a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
Venus graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Music Therapy and from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Music - Classical Performance.
Venus has worked in Palliative Care South East, Hamlyn Views School, a Special Developmental School, and Sing&Grow, a music therapy program for young children and their families for her placement. Before music therapy training, Venus worked as a behavioural therapist and private tutor for children with ADHD.
Venus sings and plays the viola, piano, guitar, and drums.
Venus is passionate about early childhood education and care. She is interested in working with preschool and school aged children with supporting their emotional and developmental needs, and older adults in enhancing their quality of life.
Venus speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Venus can also speak Korean.
In her own time, Venus likes spending quality time with herself, such as listening to music, reading, calligraphy writing and taking photos with her film camera. She also enjoys playing volleyball, doing pilates, watching drama shows.

Eason is in his second year of Master of Music Therapy study at the University of Melbourne.
Eason has worked as a music therapy intern in Northern Kids Therapy (Mill Park) and Aurrum Aged Care (Plenty) in Melbourne. He had experiences of volunteering with musical activities with children from 3-10, adults with intellectual disability and cerebral palsy in Taiwan.
Eason is very musical. He plays piano, guitar, harmonica and melodica. He had multiple experience in music industry such as music production, composing, jazz combo performer and wedding band musician. He is also the piano residency in The Carringbush Hotel in Collingwood.
Eason is interested in supporting the elderly. He is also passionate about empowering strength of children with ASD and ADHD.
Eason speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
In his own time, Eason likes playing basketball, swimming, camping, hiking, and watching sunset at the beaches.

Natalie graduate from the City University of Hong Kong with a Master of Science in Finance. She has extensive experiences in the bank industry. She also worked in the retail industry with experiences supporting customers’ needs.
Natalie is a native Cantonese speaker. She also speaks English and Mandarin.
Natalie likes Polynesian dancing. She is a proud mum of a 4 years old son.

Yvonne is a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA) and Chinese Professional Music Therapy Association (CPMT), as well as a Level 1 drum circle facilitator.
Yvonne has studied music therapy since 2012. She has over 10 years of clinical experiences in various settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and special schools. In 2015, she participated in a music therapy exchange program at the State University of New York at New Paltz, US. Yvonne received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM), China in 2017. She is currently undertaking a Master's Research Program in Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne and had placement experience working in the Melbourne Clinic.
After graduating from CCOM, Yvonne worked as a music therapist in Beijing, China for 5 years. She was the former Director of Recreation and Lead Music Therapist at Genesis Rehab Center - Healthcare Services, working with people with stroke, cerebral injury, depression, anxiety, and dementia. In addition, she was also a former music therapist at Loyelin Music Therapy Studio, providing individual and group music therapy services to children with special needs.
Yvonne is passionate about supporting creativity, self-expression, and quality of life through music for older adults, preschool and school-aged children.
Yvonne has a high level of musical skills around singing, and playing the piano and guitar. She can also play ukulele and drums.
Yvonne is a native speaker of Cantonese and Mandarin. She also speaks fluent English.
Outside of work, Yvonne enjoys a wide range of activities such as singing, playing musical instruments, and exercising. Swimming, cycling, and exploring different restaurants is part of her self-care routine.

Jane graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Master of Creative Arts Therapy and specialized in Dance Movement Therapy. She also as a Bachelor degree in Chinese Culture University in Taipei, Taiwan and majored in Contemporary dance. Jane is interested in working with children to support their emotional and physical development needs. She is also passionate about supporting adults and older adults to have a better quality of life alongside movement expression.
Jane is a Dance Movement Therapist registered with The Australia, New Zealand and Asia Creative Arts Association (ANZACATA). She has worked in Abbotsford Bilingual Primary, CASPA Aged care, Adare care to support caregivers for her placement training.
Jane was a primary school teacher in Taiwan for many years. She is experienced in working children with special needs such as ADHD and ASD. She was also a professional dance teacher before becoming a Dance Movement Therapist.
Jane speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
In Jane’s leisure time, she enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking and river tracking. She likes to spend her own time in nature. She also likes to explore different genres of music and try different dance styles.

Rachel graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Music Therapy in 2023. She also had a Bachelor degree of Arts in Music from Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor. She is registered with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
Rachel has worked with Melbourne Bilingual Music Therapy Service as therapy assistant during her training. She has worked in JAM Music Therapy (mainly working with adults), Monash Children's Hospital (mainly working under the general paediatric and oncology ward), and McCulloch House (an inpatient palliative care unit for adults and older adults) for her placements. Before music therapy training, Rachel was a piano teacher, and worked as a music teacher trainee, for which facilitated different music group sessions for children in a music therapy centre in Hong Kong.
Rachel's major instrument is the piano. She also plays the guitar and sings. She is enthusiastic in learning different instruments.
Rachel is interested in working with people in all ages, but particularly enjoys working with children so far, with a passion of providing positive supports depending on their own pace. She adopts a variety of music therapy approaches, such as humanistic, strength-based approaches to name a few, depending on the needs of the participants.
Rachel is a native Cantonese speaker. She also speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
Rachel likes engaging in both active and static activities in her downtime, particularly with some accompany. Activities can be like dancing, doing pilates, playing music, making crafts and writing calligraphies.

Kin is a Registered Drama Therapist with the North American Drama Therapy Association (RDT, NADTA), and a Registered Creative Arts Therapist with the Australian, New Zealand, and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (AThR, ANZACATA). Additionally, he holds accreditations as an Accredited Psychodrama Psychotherapist from the British Psychodrama Association (BPA). Kin completed the Drama Therapist alternative program from the North American Drama Therapy Association and holds an International Certification in Experiential Trauma Therapy using the Therapeutic Spiral Model – Level II.
His academic qualifications include a Master of Drama Education from Griffith University, a Postgraduate Diploma from the London Centre for Psychodrama specializing in Psychodrama Group and Individual Psychotherapy, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, School of Drama. Kin also possesses an Advanced Certificate in Playback Theatre from the Centre of Playback Theatre. With two decades of arts-related experience, Kin has worked at HK Disneyland, Ocean Park, Theatre Noir, and The Boys and Girls Club Association of Hong Kong, leading and participating in numerous projects and performances. He has collaborated with various Government and Non-Government Organizations and schools, including the Hong Kong Youth Art Foundation, Education Bureau, and the Hong Kong Correctional Services Department.
Kin is committed to supporting mental, relational, emotional, and developmental well-being through early childhood education, dramatic play, creative arts, and trauma therapy. His goal is to create a nurturing environment that promotes healing and growth for individuals of all ages.
Kin is fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
In his leisure time, he enjoys cooking, attending theatre productions, daydreaming, spending quality time with family and friends, and finding solace by the seaside, where he is rejuvenated by the winds and the scent of the sea

Joanna is a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA). Joanna graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Music Therapy and from Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Psychology).
Joanna has worked with children, teenagers and adults with disabilities in a therapy clinic in the community, at home and school settings, adults in St Vincent Mental Health and older adults in a private residential aged care setting. Previously, she also worked as a music therapy group facilitator with children with special needs of mainstream schools in Hong Kong through Telehealth during Covid. She also worked with children with ASD, ADHD, and/or other developmental challenges of diverse cultural backgrounds in an early childhood special education centre in Hong Kong.
Joanna is passionate about improving the holistic wellbeing of individuals across the lifespan through music therapy in a strength-based and person-centred approach. She has particular interest in supporting individuals with needs of mental health and socio-emotional development.
She believes that every person deserves to be seen and heard; each person's uniqueness should be validated and embraced; and it is important for children and teenagers to grow with compassion, unconditional positive regards and empathy.
